Response from Highways Officer to request from Councillor Barry Anderson:

Dear Councillor Anderson,

I have being having some difficulty in coordinating the civil’s works at the same time as the proposed lining works.

Given that the lining scheme is weather dependent, I am looking to implement the lining as soon as possible and once a civil engineering contractor is available and once I have all the statutory undertakers equipment drawing, I will look to undertake the hard standing proposals.

If this is acceptable to you I will look to programme the lining work within the next 4 week period.
